What are the steps to set up the app?
- MyUPS Account:
- Make sure you have an existing MyUPS account.
- Login Method:
- Make sure you know if you will use the old login method (MyUPS username and password, access key, account number and country of origin) or the new login method (client ID, client key, account number and country of origin).
- Account Connection:
- Open the application and follow the instructions in the section entitled "UPS Account" to connect your MyUPS account.
- Enter your account information according to the login method you have chosen (old or new).
- Selection of the Default Package:
- Choose a default package type for shipping rate calculations during the purchase process.
- Decide if you want to use the default UPS packages or add custom packages.
- To add a custom package, you must know the dimensions and weight of the package to add it to the application.
- Insurance Preferences:
- Configure your insurance preferences for the packages.
- Select one of the following options:
- Deactivated (Not insured).
- Secure the total amount of the order.
- Secure packages for a specific amount.
- Please note that UPS covers up to $100 USD by default for all packages.
- Default Shipping Address:
- Specify a default shipping address for your orders.
- It may be an address that has not been discussed during the initial configuration.
- App Support:
- Use the instructions in the app or the on-screen tips to orient yourself during the setup.

To which countries can I send my products?
It all depends on the agreement or contract that you have negotiated with UPS to carry out your shipments.
How do I activate the Carrier Calculated Shipping rates in my store?
If you're on the Basic plan, you need to switch to the Shopify plan, then the feature could be added for a $20 monthly fee or by switching from monthly to yearly billing. The other option would be to switch to the Advanced Shopify or Plus plan.

How are shipping costs calculated on Upship?
- The weight of the product and the dimensions of the packages that are configured in the application are taken into account to calculate the shipping costs.
- First, the dimensional or volumetric weight of the package is calculated.
- It is compared to the weight of the product.
- If the weight of the product is greater, shipping is calculated with this weight in a single package.
- If it is less, shipping is calculated with this weight. The difference is that if there are several items with the same package and whose sum of weights is not greater than the dimensional weight, they will be assigned to a single package, until the dimensional weight is completed without exceeding it.
- If the dimensional weight is exceeded by the quantity of products, another package will automatically be generated, and both will have the dimensional weight assigned.
What is the price of the app?
Our app costs $24.99 per month. You will have 14 days to try our application totally FREE.
What are your shipping costs?
It all depends on the agreement or contract that you have negotiated with UPS to carry out your shipments.
Do I have to be a resident of Puerto Rico or Latin America to use the application?
Our app was created specifically for UPS business customers residing in Puerto Rico or Latin America.
Do I need a UPS account to use the app?
Correct. You must have a business account in Puerto Rico or Latin America with UPS to use our app.
Do I need an online store on Shopify to use the app?
Correct. Our app is only compatible with online stores on Shopify.
What features does the application include?
- Offer your negotiated rates to your customers using UPS.
- Use UPS to purchase and print your shipping label.
- Create a connection directly between your online store and your UPS account.
What Shopify plan is required to use the app?
Our application requires that the Carrier Calculated Shipping rates be enabled in your store. If you're on the Basic plan, you need to switch to the Shopify plan, then the feature could be added for a $20 monthly fee or switching from monthly to yearly billing. The other option would be to switch to the Advanced Shopify or Plus plan.
What shipping service do you use?
At the moment, we use UPS as our main shipping service.
What type of packages should I use to make my shipments?
You can choose from the wide variety of packages predetermined by UPS or you can also add your own packages to make your shipments.
How do I connect my UPS account in the app?
To successfully connect your UPS account to Upship, you need the following information:
- Your UPS account username and password.
- Your UPS account number, shipper number, or shipper number.
- Your UPS access code.
