How do I activate the Carrier Calculated Shipping rates in my store?
If you're on the Basic plan, you need to switch to the Shopify plan, then the feature could be added for a $20 monthly fee or by switching from monthly to yearly billing. The other option would be to switch to the Advanced Shopify or Plus plan.

How are shipping costs calculated on Upship?
- The weight of the product and the dimensions of the packages that are configured in the application are taken into account to calculate the shipping costs.
- First, the dimensional or volumetric weight of the package is calculated.
- It is compared to the weight of the product.
- If the weight of the product is greater, shipping is calculated with this weight in a single package.
- If it is less, shipping is calculated with this weight. The difference is that if there are several items with the same package and whose sum of weights is not greater than the dimensional weight, they will be assigned to a single package, until the dimensional weight is completed without exceeding it.
- If the dimensional weight is exceeded by the quantity of products, another package will automatically be generated, and both will have the dimensional weight assigned.

Our app was created specifically for UPS business customers residing in Puerto Rico or Latin America.

Correct. You must have a business account in Puerto Rico or Latin America with UPS to use our app.
Do I need an online store on Shopify to use the app?
Correct. Our app is only compatible with online stores on Shopify.

What shipping service do you use?
At the moment, we use UPS as our main shipping service.

You can choose from the wide variety of packages predetermined by UPS or you can also add your own packages to make your shipments.
